
The pyramids were just dandy close-up, but not quite suitable for kiwi-scale photo ops. So we took a bus up to the panoramic view for some better shots.

The kiwis, of course, couldn't resist hamming it up in front of the camera once they realized the current distance was perfect for perspective-based hijinks. RAWR, Pyramids, we eatchoo!

After a bit of fun and camel rides, we returned to Giza to take a look at the Sphinx, which is actually quite tiny in comparison to the pyramids. Unable to solve its riddle, the kiwis lost no time in challenging the Sphinx to a staring contest instead.

They were rewarded for this with a trip to the Red Pyramid, whose base provided the most useful backdrop yet. :3
